Feeling Good about Feeling Good

Today I went with Sheila's class to the Fairchild tropical gardens. We saw beautiful and exotic plants from all over the world. The plants were combined with beautiful blown glass by Chihuly, a world famous glass artist. It made me feel good to be in a place where natural beauty was so highly prized. Very often I feel like might makes right in our society and it was nice to experience a couple of hours where the life and light of the plants and enjoying that light and life was the main focus. Sheila choose just the right profession for herself (with a little help) because she belongs in an environment where beauty and light have value and are appreciated.

I have my first massage with of the Bed and Breakfast owners next door that I will be working with. I am a little nervous but I know that I have good intentions, good focus, and good skills. Even though our professions on the surface seem as if they have nothing to do with each other they are both about making the world a better place to live in and I am proud that we are and will be doing that.
